Today is Friday. It is the First of May. Tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day. Last week we went to the Steampunk Symposium 2015. The next two weekends are booked as well. Monday is May the Fourth. It feels like the Geek Universe is emerging along with the spring.

Quite some time ago, I promised Mr. UncommonGeek that I would make him a hoody that resembled a recognizer from Tron. Since I have no experience sewing sweatshirts, and I am trying to use fabric that I already own (but do not currently own any suitable sweatshirt type material), this has proven rather difficult.

I have been unable to sew anything to share with you this week. I am sad because I think that the next item for me to make is a circle skirt. I really want to make one and see how it turns out.
