Since Mrs. Uncommon Geek and I have been living together, we have, for reasons beyond us, have accumulated multiple Christmases. Since I’m not much one for Christmas, is this a bad thing? Not at all! As this is my first posting, I just wanted to start off by saying hello readers. My name is Andrew B. DeWar, you may remember me from the 2nd interview here on The Uncommon Geek. This post was going to be a bunch of evidence to support my claim that the NES version of Tetris was the original version from Nintendo, and thus should be hailed as such. And that everyone should, literally, change there tune.

Looks like I was wrong… (more…)

Being able to download a lot of retro arcade games on my 360 has set my mind into a vintage whirlpool of memories. I’ve played a lot of games in my day. A Lot of games

Sherman, set the way-back machine to 1983 to see where it all began. (more…)
