Troy and Tyler have known each other for almost 10 years! The details of how they met in real life may frighten the weak of heart, but also tells of a tale of trust in strangers that ended up becoming life-long friends!
Today we bring you our interview with THE MAN himself, Darryl Banks!
Our BossMonkey sits down with Darryl at the 2016 Gem City Comic Con to talk about how Mr. Banks got into drawing comic books, and some of the inspiration behind his most famous creation, the Green Lantern Kyle Rayner (Troy’s favorite Green Lantern)!
“At first, I was extremely nervous and shy!” Troy says about the interview. “But after we got started, and Darryl was telling me about how he fanboy’s out over meeting his favorite artists, it helped me realize that he was a fan just like me. Only he created Kyle Rayner.”
We must also apologize about the audio quality of this episode. Shortly after the interview started recording, one of the mics on our Tascam went out. We hope that does not take anything away from the enjoyment of this awesome interview!
Video games are awesome! And when we get a chance to talk with people who make games, we get to learn more about what we enjoy! Which is always a good thing.
This week, we sit down with Rob Buchheit of Nectar Game Studios to talk about a game they are working on called “Project Resurgence.” It’s like Balders Gate and Diablo with elements of tabletop RPG mixed in!
Rob lays it all out on the table and talks about what goes into making a game and talks about his history with video games and the inspiration behind Project Resurgence! We also geek out a lot and get off topic, just like always 🙂
“Hell and Back” is a stop motion film that would make Gumby and Pokey blush or run in terror. It promises to set a new standard in adult animation that will leave “Robot Chicken” and others in a putty purgatory. (more…)
