Greetings, Programs!

Today (or tonight depending on when you’re listening) on the podcast we have James Pitt of Dayton Artist Movement Productions in for our very first geekout episode since being R3C0NF1GUR3D!

We ask him”The Question”, ask him a little about himself, and then begin talking about and geeking out on science fiction, and ever so lightly brush on the idea of conspiracy theories!

Check out the Dayton Artist Movement Productions Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Dayton-Artist-Movement-Productions-500377143637457/ and give it a like! Let him know that you heard him on the podcast!

Holy frak! We have Twill Distilled on the podcast!

Twill is a nerdcore hip-hop artist from Columbus, Ohio! You might remember her from the interview we did with Alpha Riff a while back.

Her first album, “Planet Twill” was released on December 7th of this year and is pretty awesome!

We talk about how she got into music and her brief career as a fashion designer, how she found herself in Ohio, and what it was like in New York! She is pretty down to earth!

Since our now Former-Tech Monkey forgot to include it into the episode, check out the single from the new album “Moon and Back” on Twill’s Soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/twill_distilled/moon-and-back

Check out the Indigogo for the album at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/welcome-to-planet-twill-debut-album#/

Follow her on the Twitter at https://twitter.com/TwillDistilled

Listen below and enjoy!

Hello readers, Andrew Blair DeWar here! Sorry this is a day later than I promised, I ended up riding along with a friend to the airport to pick someone up and we didn’t get home until late and I had work at 8am. However, that said, I don’t want to keep you waiting any longer. So this week’s submission is three parts, all connected poems, the first called Oh Mr. Zero, Quit Trying To Be The Hero; the second called Oh The Hero, You’re Nothing More Than Mr. Zero; and the third called Why Mr. Zero, It Seems You’ve Become The Villain. They are quite long, so feel free to pace yourselves to get through them, and feel free to let me know what you think. And as always, please feel free to submit your own work to be feature as well! So, without further ado, here are the poems:

Sorry for the hiatus there, had some school stuff to deal with, as I’m about to start my last year of classes. But we’re back, and with a Multi-Submission! The first is an 8 word flash fiction story, the second is a shape poem that is based off a short story called The Garden of Shattered Porcelain which can be found here, and the third is an excerpt from a story I started a long time ago that ended up abandoned called Custom Weapons Battle. It’s unedited and incredibly old, so I can’t promise the anything with it other than a glimpse at my writing as I was growing as an author.

I hope you enjoy, and as always, if you’d like to have your work on the site, send it to us with some information you want to share about it as well as yourself and we’ll publish up here for you! So, without further ado, here are today’s publications:

If you have ever attended a Pandora Promotions event in and around the Cincinnati area, chances are you have probably seen or have met Derpy Derpaceratops. That cute little stuffed Triceratops with the one droopy horn who has a wicked fashion sense! He has been brought to life by a few good friends of mine, and I look forward to seeing Derpy and friends every time I go to an event! (more…)

Today’s publication is another flash fiction I wrote, this one had the challenge of being written like a classic quest tale. That meant that characters had to be very black and white, one dimensional, there had to be a clear and almost self-explanatory goal for the main character, and things had to pick up pretty quickly. I went with a Roman theme, as that seemed like the easiest setting to work with, and this story was the end result. So read after the break, and let me know what you think: (more…)
