A new arcade opened up in one of our local malls a few weeks ago. Naturally, I was excited and skeptical at the same time as modern arcades have been lacking in appeal as far as what they call games goes. A co-worker told me about the above mentioned arcade and Mrs. Uncommon geek and I decided to check it out. We stayed maybe 10 minutes, and most of that time was spent trying to beat each others high scores on a free-to-play Pac-Man/Galaga emulator with terrible lag. I reported back to my co-worker and gave him my honest opinion about the place. He asked me if classic games are the only thing I look for in an arcade. That got me thinking…
